Favorite Gardening Books

For the past 10 years I have been an avid gardener. There has been so much trial and error, little successes and failures, and joys and sorrows in the garden. For me it is a time and place to find peace, rest, and ponder the beauty of creation. Gardens take time just like home. I keep all of these books on hand in our home library and reference every year. I look forward to sharing more to come of how we've slowly grown in the garden.

“I understood that every flower created by Him is beautiful, that the brilliance of the rose and the whiteness of the lily do not lessen the perfume of the violet or the sweet simplicity of the daisy. I understood that if all the lowly flowers wished to be roses, nature would no longer be enameled with lovely hues. And so it is in the world of souls, Our Lord's living garden.” ―St. Thérèse de Lisieux
